Getting the kids outside is often times hard. Getting the kids dressed, packed, and motivated is sometimes so stressful that not doing anything is much much easier. We’ve lived here three and a half years, and if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s to seize the day. If it’s remotely nice out, go. Even if the kids are being stinkers, tomorrow may be in the single digits and the sun may not make an appearance for days after that. So, as the days get shorter and the flurries begin I often panic and get the kids outside even it its just for a walk around the house with their jacket, jammies, and snow boots on. On this particular day we were on a mission to go on a short adventure walk. We didn’t get far before the rain began, but I still managed to get a couple cute photos of them before they got too cold and the break-downs began!
