Week 19 – Beattie Gulch

My husband is an avid primitive archer.  In a nutshell this means he makes his own bows, arrows, and occasionally arrowheads out of locally acquired materials (for the most part).  For Christmas he made Garrett a smaller sized bow so that he could teach him to shoot so that they can eventually go hunting together.  We made a family trip to Beattie Gulch, just outside the northern boundary of Yellowstone, to try out G’s new bow.  We only lasted 20 minutes outside due to the cold, but it sure was a beautiful day!
