My family could play on a beach (aka river access) all day long. Patrick would rock hound, Garrett would dig, and Avery would wander around picking up rocks and other interesting things. We stopped in Park City on the way to Billings and found a wonderful beach along the Yellowstone just outside of the small Montana town. The beach was huge compared to the beaches around here, which offered a myriad of choices in fun. Some people were fishing, others were picnicking, and those lucky enough to be able to afford $8 a gallon and drive a huge monster-esque type truck were able to drive all over the place. We will definitely be back…but not in our small grocery getter car.
